The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys track team posted a third place finish at the Anamosa Raider Relays Tuesday.

The Hawks scored 105 team points, Mount Vernon won the team title with 139.50 points. Mid-Prairie took home four championships on the night. Terrhyn Jacoby won the 100 in 11.56 seconds, Peyton Miller took the 400 hurdle title in 56.55 seconds, Kyle Miller won the high jump clearing 6’1″ and the 4×400 team of Grant Boyse, Cary Schaefer, Marshall Teets and Peyton Miller was a winner in 3:30.76. Other top finishes for the Hawks included Schaefer second in the 100 and 800, second for the sprint medley team of Josh Slaubaugh, Adain Rath, Schaefer and Boyse, third for Zach Pettit in the 800, Kyle Miller third in the long jump, third for the 4×800 team of Marshall Teets, Pettit, Miles Burrows and Peyton Miller, fourth for Boyse in the 400, fifth for Lucas Bontrager in the 3200 and fifth for the shuttle hurdle team of Burrows, Elmir Ganibegovic, Caleb Thomas and Luke Albright.

The Golden Hawks will next be on the track Thursday at the Eckstrand Relays at WACO.
