The Mid-Prairie girls track team had a pair of events in action on the blue oval in Des Moines at the Drake Relays.
The Golden Hawks Anna Hostetler ran the 800 Friday afternoon, finishing in fifth place with a time of 2:15.99. Sydney Milani of Southeast Polk won the event in 2:11.35.
The Hawks also had the 4×100 team of Maddie Edgington, Cassidy Rourke, Amber Swart and Kitty Conway compete. They took 74th of 80 teams with a time of 53.16 seconds. Dubuque Wahlert won the event with a time of 49.10 seconds.
