The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys golf team travels to Tipton Thursday for a River Valley Conference dual with the Tigers.

The Hawks were last in action at Tuesday’s Comet Invitational in West Liberty. Mid-Prairie finished fifth at the event with a team score of 331, led by Noah Schlabaugh’s 79. On the season, the Hawks have a team average of 180 per nine holes and are led by Schlabaugh’s 40 average. Other averages for Mid-Prairie include Michael Callahan at 45, Ryan Slaubaugh at 47, Monte Slabaugh at 48, and Collin Gingerich and Ryan Smit each with 50.

Tipton enters play with a team average of 176 per nine holes. Top shooter for the Tigers is Keith Penningroth with a 45. Action begins at 4p.m. and continues into the evening at the Tipton Golf and Country Club.
