The No. 16 ranked Iowa Mennonite School soccer team posted their second consecutive shutout Thursday in a 4-0 win over visiting Central Lee.

Isaiah Swantz stole the show offensively for IMS posting his first career hat trick. He got the scoring started in the third minute with a long distance strike from 40 yards out to make it 1-0 IMS. He doubled the Iowa Mennonite lead in the 12th minute with a goal on a rebound, and that’s where the score stood at intermission.

After the break IMS got an insurance goal from Cole Ours on a Jacob Boller assist in the 60th minute to make it 3-0 and Swantz struck once more on a late penalty kick to finish out the hat trick. Blake Bontrager recorded the clean sheet in goal with a pair of saves. IMS is now 5-0 on the year and will next be in action Monday when they travel to Columbus.
