A pair of KCII area teams will meet up on the soccer pitch in Columbus Junction Monday when the Wildcats host the Iowa Mennonite boys.

IMS enters action at a perfect 5-0 on the young season, ranked No. 16 in class 1A in the latest poll from the Iowa Soccer Coaches Association. In their last match they were 4-0 winners over Central Lee on Thursday. On the year, IMS is led by Isaiah Swantz with seven goals, most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Jacob Boller leads the team and is tied for the conference lead with three assists. In goal Blake Bontrager has posted three shut outs this year and made 16 saves.

The Wildcats are back at .500 for the season, entering play at 3-3 after a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Mid-Prairie Friday night. On the year the Wildcats are led by Felix Solis with five goals, third most in the Superconference. Solis also leads the team and is tied for the conference lead with three assists. In goal, Keagan Atkinson has made 12 saves on the year and posted a pair of shut outs. These two teams met twice last season with IMS sweeping the series by 2-1 and 3-2 scores.
