In a match up of KCII area teams on the course Iowa Mennonite travels to Twin Lakes Golf Course to take on the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves Thursday.

The IMS boys are coming off of a fourth place finish in a quadrangular meet Tuesday at Knoll Ridge Golf Course in North English. IMS was led on the day by Trevor Leyden with a 47. Leyden leads IMS on the year with a nine hole average of 46. He is followed by London Schrock at 54, Bronze Slabach at 60 and Cole Roth at 64.

Winfield-Mt. Union enters Thursday off of a third place finish at the Durant Invitational Tuesday at Wahkonsa Golf Course. The Wolves were led by Kaleb Hagge’s 77. On the season Hagge, the defending class 1A state champion, leads the Wolves with 38 average per nine holes. Other scores for WMU include Nolan Ross at 41, Kash Rossiter and Graham Hagge at 47, Jarod Kadel at 50 and Noah Freeman at 54.

The Iowa Mennonite girls come into Thursday off of a third place finish in their quad meet at English Valleys. IMS shot 267, led by Gretta Rempel with a 56. On the season Iowa Mennonite is led by Rempel with a 58 average per nine holes. Lara Kliewer has a 65 average, Hannah Peters is at 76 and Kennedy Roth 84.

Winfield-Mt. Union is entering play off of a loss to New London last time out 186-210. The Wolves were led in the match by Lexee Hartsock with a 50. On the season WMU is led by Hartsock with a 53 average per nine holes. Other scoring averages for the Wolves on the year include Sabrina Moody, Lauren Jamison and Lauren Hagge at 56, Abbie Cooley at 68 and Makenna Mullin at 75.

Action begins at 4p.m. and continues into the evening at the Twin Lakes Golf Course in Winfield.
