The No. 15 ranked Iowa Mennonite boys soccer team stayed undefeated on the young season with a pair of late goals against Burlington, Notre Dame Thursday in a 2-1 win.

The game was scoreless until the final 30 seconds of the first half when the Nikes capitalized on a miscue by the IMS defense to take a 1-0 lead into the break. Defenses continued to control the first portion of the second half with the only real scoring opportunity coming on a missed Nike penalty kick. IMS got the equalizer in the 67th minute when Drew Blauvelt knocked in a rebound. With two and a half minutes on the clock IMS got the game winner from Louis Etienne as he redirected an Isaiah Swantz cross. Blake Bontrager had five saves to lead the IMS defense. With the win, IMS is now 2-0 on the year and will host Highland Monday.
