KCII Radio received four awards Saturday from the Iowa Broadcast News Association.

KCII News Director Sally Hart was recognized in small market radio for In-Depth/Series for pieces about Saving Brinton, in the Farm and Agribusiness News category for Eclipse the cow having triplets, and for Best Use of Actuality for a story about the downtown Washington solar eclipse celebration. News Assistant Sam McIntosh was recognized for Feature for Fairfield Armless Archer Makes National Team. The annual conference for radio and television broadcasters from across the state was held in Cedar Rapids.
