The Lone Tree Lions, Winfield-Mount Union Wolves, Sigourney Savages, and the Waco Warriors all competed in Tuesday Warriors Relay in Wayland.

The Lions finished second in overall team points with 138. Wapello won the meet with 168 points. The lions had six championships on the evening with Casey Shalla winning the discus with a throw of 122’09” and the shot put with a throw of 42’05”. Harmon Miller won the 800 with a time of 2:12.75. The 4×400- meter relay team won with the time of 3:46.49.The 4×800-meter relay team won with a time of 8:47.61. Also, the 4×400-meter relay team won with the time of 1:09.01. Other top finishers for the Lions included Brock Smith second in the 400 and the 800. Cale Yoder also finished second in the shot put. Ty Griffin finished second in the 400-meter hurdles and third in the 110 hurdles.

The Winfield-Mt Union Wolves finished third on the night with 106 points The Wolves had five champions as Brandon Snowden won three events, the 100-meter dash in 11.11 seconds, 200-meter dash in 23.40 seconds, and the 400- meter dash in 52.47 seconds. The 4×100 meter relay team won in a time of 46.56 seconds. Brody Barton won the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:02.39, and he finished in second in the 1600-meter run. Bryant Holtkamp finished second in the discus. BJ Rodgers finished second in the long jump.
The Savages finished eighth overall with 84 points. The Savages had two championships on the night with Tommy Stout in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:57.44, and the distance medley relay team in a time of 4:04.64. Other top finishes included Mason Moore second-place in the 3200 and third in the 1600-meter run. Paul Montgomery third in the 800-meter run, Spencer Magil third in the high jump, Carson Crawford third in the shot put, and the 4×400-meter relay team third.
The WACO Warriors finished ninth with 74 points. The Warriors had one championship on the night with Colton Horak in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.68 seconds. Horak added a second place in the 110 hurdles. Elijah McGohan placed second in the 200 and third in the 400-meters. Calvin Battle Jr added two third place finishes in the 100 and 200-meter dash.
Lone Tree and WACO will travel to Winfield-Mount Union, while Sigourney will travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg on Thursday. Both Meets start at 4:30.
