The Lone Tree boys and girls track teams were in action Thursday at the Falcon Co-Ed meet at West Burlington.

The Lone Tree boys finished third of six teams with 112 points. West Burlington won the meet with 159 points. The Lions had four championship events on the night with Brock Smith taking the 800 in 2:10.22, Ty Griffin won the 400m hurdles in 1:00.15, Brady Dauber the long jump with a leap of 19’7.5″ and the distance medley team of Alex Viner, Avery Knock, Brady Dauber and Brock Smith were winners in 4:00.76 seconds. Other top finishes for the Lions included a runner-up for Keegan Edwards in the high jump, second for Casey Shalla in the shot put and third in the discus, second place for Alberto Cortes in the 3200, Caleb Viers was third, Brady Dauber third in the 200, the shuttle hurdle team of Alex Viner, Levi Sotzen, Ty Griffin and Konner Coppinger took third, the 4×400 team of Brock Smith, Ty Griffin, Keegan Edwards and Brady Dauber were third with the 4×800 team of Alberto Cortes, Harmon Miller, Casey Shalla and Tim Mills also taking third.

The Lone Tree girls were fifth of six teams with 50 points. West Burlington Notre Dame won the meet with 165 points. The Lady Lions had a pair of championships on the night with Emily Feldman winning the 100m hurdles in 17.54 seconds, the shuttle hurdle relay team of Holley Johnson, Skylar Smith, Zoie Simonsen and Emily Feldman also won gold in 1:15.35. Other top finishes for the Lone Tree girls included runner-up for Holly Johnson in the 100m hurdles, third for Johnson in the long jump, Macie Bopp fifth in the 1500 and 3000, and Jordan Akers fifth in the discus.
