WWII Program

Title: WWII Program
Description: Come out to the conservation center and listen to first-hand accounts of what World War II was like. Local WWII veteran Marion Turnipseed will be giving a presentation about his experiences while serving in the air force, including his 35 missions in Germany and France. This event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Steinbeck Conference Hall at the Conservation Center at Marr Park on Saturday May 12 at 2 p.m. Snacks will be provided.

Description: Greater Fairfield Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a “Masquerade” themed Gala Dinner at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center on Saturday May 5. The fundraising event will include a gourmet dinner by Cafe Dodici, live entertainment, and an auction to help raise funds for the nonprofit.
