Wolves sweeps Huskies and Lions

The Winfield-Mt. Union golf teams traveled to Blue Top Ridge Golf course, for a triangular meet with the Highland Huskies and the Lone Tree Lions.

The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves boys won the meet with the score of 176. Kaleb Hagge was the meet medalist with a two-over par 38. Nolan Ross was the medalist runner-up shooting 41. Other scores for the Wolves were Kash Rossiter with a 48, Noah Freeman fired a 49, Jarod Kadel shot a 50, and Graham Hagge finished with a 54.

Lone Tree came in second with a score of 222. Cory Krueger led the Lions with a score of 51. Other scores for Lone Tree included, Erik Edens, with a 56, Josh Mills shot a 57,Curtis Patterson had a 58, and Austin Marshek shot a 72.

The Highland Huskies finished third with a score of 231. Grady Yeggy led the Highland with a 49. The Huskies also had Richard Dunbar shoot a 54, Brady Hahn a 61, Trey Lasek and Colton Mellinger both fired 67s, and Hunter Craig shot 68.

On the Girls side, the Wolves won with a score of 219. The Wolves had the meet medalists with Lexee Harstock and Sabrina Moody shooting matching 54s. Other scores for the Wolves were Lauren Hagge (Hay-gee) who shot a 55, Lauren Jamison shot a 56, Makenna Mullin shot a 67, and Abbey Cooley shot a 74.

Golden Hawks Go to Anamosa
