A portion of 220th Street in Washington County will be closed for road work.
The Washington County Engineer’s Office states beginning April 27th 220th Street, also known as G36, will be closed from Highway 1 and 92 east to the 12th Street, or Riverside Road, intersection for a patching and grinding project. The road will be closed to thru traffic and the detour around includes using 12th Street and Highway 92 through Washington. Drivers are reminded to use the posted detour and allow extra time to reach their destination. Cedar Falls Construction is doing the work.
