Thirty games into the season the Cornell College baseball team has seen stellar performances from former KCII area athletes.

Offensively, the Rams leader is former Washington Demon standout Walker Breard. Breard, the all-time program leader in RBI, is hitting .376 with a team best 28 runs driven in, five home runs, 38 total hits and has reached base in 20 consecutive games. Former Demon Collin Zear has gotten some time on the hill for the Rams this year. Zear has appeared in six games this season, sporting a 1-1 overall record and 3.18ERA in 11 innings of work.

A pair of former Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves have seen time this year. Matthew Niebuhr is batting .500 in limited action with a hit and a run scored. Darren Hunter also has four plate appearances on the season.

Former Lone Tree Lion Ross Swinton is working out of the bullpen for the Rams. He has appeared in three games this season, with a 1-1 overall record he has worked eight innings with a 5.40 ERA.

The Rams are 13-17 on the year and will next be in action Monday against Illinois College.
