Snow and Cold Temperatures Over the Weekend

For the second weekend in a row Washington had snow fall across the area.

An inch and a half of snow was recorded. Temperatures dipped down to 27 degrees Sunday, the low for April 15th was 19 degrees set in 1928. So far this month, temperatures in April have been well below normal. The average temperature has been observed at a record low 34.8 degrees and it is normally 47.7 degrees. Temperatures are expected to rise as the week continues with highs in the upper-50’s by Friday. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
