Organizing meetings, demonstrating skills, preparing facilities, chaperoning trips, these are just a few of the ways that volunteers give to 4-H.

This week is National Volunteer Week and Washington County 4-H Coordinator Amy Green is thanking all of those who give their time to the program, “We really can only do what we do because we have volunteers. So we’re very thankful for those volunteers for their time whether it’s once a year or it’s every week they’re touching base with their 4-Hers about something. The way that they care for our kids, and inspire them, and support them in all areas of their life not just 4-H is definitely recognized and appreciated. We really are making a difference.” This year, Washington County has 396 4-H members and 162 Clover Kids.
