Wednesday the Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in Fort Madison plays host to the boys Southeast Iowa Superconference Championship meet.

On paper the Central Lee Hawks are the team to beat with a 156 average per nine holes. The Hawks are led by Lane Campbell and his 39 average per nine holes.

Top area team entering play is Winfield-Mt. Union. The Wolves have the top nine hole average in the north division of the Superconference at 168. WMU is led by the defending individual class 1A state champ Kaleb Hagge and his 37 average. Other players for the Wolves include Nolan Ross at 41, Kash Rossiter and Graham Hagge at 46, Jarrod Kadel 47 and Noah Freeman 53.

The Columbus Wildcats enter play with a 210 average per nine holes. Columbus is led by Ryan Orr and his 43 average per nine holes.

Lone Tree has a 217 average per nine holes. Top player for the Lions by the numbers is Keegan Edwards with his 49 average.

Highland has a 222 average per nine holes. The Huskies are led by a trio at 53 with Grady Yeggy, Richard Dunbar and Jack Baker.

Iowa Mennonite has a 227 average per nine holes. Top player for IMS is Trevor Leyden with a 48 average per nine holes.
