Chaplain to Speak at Washington Memorial Day Service

Memorial Day will be observed next week and the speaker at the annual Washington service has been announced.

This year’s keynote speaker is Antonette Tom, she is now the staff chaplain at the Iowa City V.A. Health Care System. The California native joined the U.S. Army in 1987 as a medic after graduating from high school and went on to graduate with a Bachelor Science degree in health care administration, and a Masters of Divinity in 2013, becoming a U.S. Army Chaplain. The event begins at 10 a.m. May 28th at the Washington High School.
