The Washington Demon baseball team welcomes Fort Madison to Dick Sojka Memorial Field Friday for a Southeast Conference doubleheader.

The Demons are 0-2 on the year after a pair of losses to Clear Creek-Amana Tuesday 9-2 and 17-4. Fort Madison is 0-1 on the year after dropping their season opener to West Burlington 8-3 behind a two for three night at the plate for Brandon Reichelt. Jordyn Gerdes led the way on the hill, going four innings, allowing six hits, four runs, walking one and striking out six. These two teams met four times last season with the Demons wearing out the Bloodhounds, outscoring them 51-4 across those contests.
