The Washington Demon girls golf team hosts an 18-hole event Thursday afternoon at the Washington Golf and Country Club.

Washington enters tonight’s action with the top average in the state regardless of class at 321. Washington is led by Sarah Nacos, the third best player in the state regardless of class by the numbers with her 37 average per nine holes and 72 average per 18 holes. Other scoring averages for Washington include Kiki Guo at 81 per 18 holes, Anna Nacos at 83, Megan Strabala 85, Josie Tanner 89 and Allison Vogel 96.

Joining Washington Thursday will be Centerville. The Big Reds have a 383 average per 18 holes, led by Elizabeth Meng and Emily Moorman with their 93 averages.

Mount Pleasant will also attend. The Panthers enter play with a 410 scoring average per 18 holes led by Anni Liechty and her 98 average per nine holes.

Williamsburg will also be in Washington Thursday. The Raiders come in with a 400 scoring average per nine holes led by Abby Tindal and her 100 average.

Action begins today at noon at the Washington Golf and Country Club.
