The Iowa Mennonite School boys soccer team travels to Washington Monday to battle the Demons in a match up of KCII area teams.

Washington enters the match with an 8-4 overall record. They fell to rival Mount Pleasant 4-1 on Thursday. On the season the Demons are led by Anthony Torres with nine goals. Julio Salgado leads Washington with six assists. In goal, Thomas Zimmer has made 45 saves.

IMS comes into the match with a 13-1 overall record. They are ranked No. 4 in class 1A in the latest poll from the Iowa Soccer Coaches Association. They suffered their first loss of the season Saturday 3-1 against No. 13 Burlington, Notre Dame. On the season IMS is led by Isaiah Swantz with 12 goals. Jacob Boller has the team lead with seven assists. In goal, Blake Bontrager has made 40 saves. These two teams met a year ago with IMS scoring a 6-2 win. Action begins at 4:30 at Washington High School.
