The Keota Eagle boys track team traveled to Montezuma Monday for their final meet of the regular season.

The Eagles finished in fifth place of six teams with 66 points. Belle Plaine won the meet with 156 points. Keota had one champion on the night as Turner Klein won the mile in 5:11.17. Other top finishes for the Eagles included Sam Sieren second in the 100, Brady Duwa was second in the 200 and third in the 100, Justin Moeller was third in the 800, the 4×400 team of Moeller, Duwa and Logan and Wyatt Sieren was a runner-up while the 4×200 team of JD Stout, Logan and Wyatt Sieren and Luke Greiner was second. The Eagles will next be in action Thursday at the state qualifier meet at WACO.
