The Sigourney Savage and Keota Eagle boys and girls golf teams were at Oakland Acres in Grinnell this week for the South Iowa Cedar League Championship meet.

On the boys side, Sigourney was conference runner-up with a 346, Iowa Valley won the team title with a 339. The Savages were led by Dustin Haines, the individual conference champion with a 74. Other scores for Sigourney included Nick Goad with an 86, Josh Mohr 91, Cole Weber 95, Ian Terfen 105 and Brock Halleran 129. Keota took fifth with a 361 team score. The Eagles were led by Jack Eakins and Luke Hammen who finished in a third place tie overall at 84. Other scores for Keota included Riley Conrad 87, Branden Hyman and Max Johnson at 106 and Chase Kindred 116.

In the girls tournament, the Savages were seventh with a 458 team score. Sidney Striegel led Sigourney with a 99. Other scores for the Savages included Sydney Morse 115, Madi Schwanke 117, Sam Bird 127 and Savhannah White 135. Keota did not post a team score. The Eagles were led by Aaliyah Heldman with a 115 and Frankie Johnson at 129.
