The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys soccer team won their fourth match in a row Thursday, topping Mediapolis 1-0 in the second stanza of extra time.

Defenses dominated regulation and the first period of extra time. Mid-Prairie was able to break through with the golden goal winner when Ethan Trimpe found Nick Ives in the second overtime. Keaton Graber made three saves in goal as the Mid-Prairie defense locked down the shut out. The Golden Hawks end the regular season at 6-4 and will host South Tama in the opening round of the playoffs Monday.
