The weather cooperated at Washington County Hospital and Clinic’s annual Kidzfest that was held outdoors this year, and saw an increase in attendance.

April Cuddeback with WCHC says it was great to be back at Central Park and there was an uptick in attendees, “We had by my count a little over 700 kids and their families there. Inside the last couple of years we’ve had between 500 and 600, so 700-plus is a great number for being outside again.” She adds that she’s received positive feedback from the groups that had booths and activities as part of the racecar-themed event, “I think they were busy all night. They enjoyed the kids and the activities, and obviously being outside in the great weather that we had.” Kidzfest was the first stop of the 2018 KCII Summer Town Tour and the Big Red Radio took part in the festivities.
