The Washington City Council will be looking to fill a vacancy soon.

Councilman Kerry Janecek submitted his resignation Friday effective immediately. Janecek represented Ward 1 and his term was set to expire December of 2019. With the resignation being submitted Friday, the vacancy did not make the agenda for Tuesday’s Washington City Council meeting.
