The Lone Tree softball team scored a five inning victory at Columbus Monday 12-2. The Lions pushed across one run in their first at bat to take an early lead.

The Wildcats answered with a run of their own in the bottom of the third to tie the game at one. From there it was all Lions, scoring four times in the fourth and seven times in the fifth to finish out the win. The Lone Tree offense was led by Holley Johnson with her two for four night with two RBI and a run scored. Chloe Jacque had three hits. Abby Buckman got the win in the circle going five innings, allowing four hits, walking four and striking out six.
