Louisa County is making their fairgrounds more accessible and enjoyable for all patrons.

A handicap accessible ramp and “mini grandstand” has been added to the grandstand amphitheater at the Louisa County Fairgrounds. Louisa County Extension Director Kathy Vance says this new seating was made possible by the effort of the fair board members led by Richard Beard, and was funded in part by an endowment from the Community Foundation of Louisa County. This endowment began last year to commemorate 125 years of the Louisa County Fair. Vance says accessible ramps and seating like this are a great asset to the fair facilities and show once again that the Louisa County Fair wants everyone to have a great time.
