Mid-Prairie Senior Class Graduates Sunday

The Class of 2018 will be leaving the nest this Sunday as Mid-Prairie High School holds its commencement ceremony.

The class colors are black and gold, flower is a yellow rose, and the motto is, “What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters to what lies within us.” Speeches will be given by class president Katie Palmer, and class co-vice presidents Katie Frantz and Paige Slabaugh, as well as student Gina Waters. Seventy-nine Golden Hawks will receive their diplomas, and the valedictorians are Kaitlin Poock and Shelby Zahradnek. Commencement takes place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the high school gym.
