Three Golden Hawks will be performing in the Class 1A/2A Jazz Educators of Iowa All-State Jazz Band.

Elmir Ganibegovic is selected for tenor saxophone, Gina Waters is selected for upright bass, and Ty Waters is selected for trombone. Tristan Novy of Mid-Prairie is selected as an alternate bari saxophone, and Liana Sweezer of Winfield-Mt. Union is selected as an alternate upright bass. Selection to the jazz band is by recorded blind audition. The All-State Jazz Bands will perform at 4 p.m. Thursday (5/10) at the Marriott Hotel in Des Moines.
