Babysitting Course Deadline

Title: Babysitting Course Deadline
Description: Several openings remain for a babysitting basics training course. Topics include employer expectations, caring for infants and young children, age appropriate toys and activities, safety, emergency, and first aid procedures. The program is for any youth who have completed 5th grade and above and the five day course will be held June 11-15 from 2-4 p.m. Cost is $30 and registration is due by June 7th or when the class is full. Description: The Kalona Historical Village will be having their annual Tea on Saturday June 9th starting at 3:00 p.m. The speaker will be Betty Bekker Forbes of Lone Tree and Doris Montag of Iowa City on Forbes Silver Tableware.
