Final Testimonies Given in Chrzan Trial, Attorneys Giving Closing Statements Friday

Final witness testimonies were given Thursday in the trial of Ambrashia Chrzan, who’s pled not guilty to child endangerment resulting in the death of her 17-month-old daughter Avery McCoy.

Highland Class of 2018 Graduates Sunday

Forty-two huskies will be fetching their diplomas this Sunday as the Highland Class of 2018 holds its commencement ceremony. A commencement address will be given by social studies teacher Jeff Collins and speeches will be given by the valedictorian and salutatorian, which will be announced Sunday. The class flower is a rose, class colors are red and white, and class song is Good Old Days by Macklemore and Kesha. Commencement begins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the high school gym.
