Girls Basketball Camp

Title: Girls Basketball Camp
Description: The 2018 Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk Girls Basketball Camp will be on July 16-19 for any girl entering grades 3-10 this fall. Mid-Prairie girls basketball coaching staff and high school players will be teaching fundamentals with proper technique, games and competitions daily, with a camp t-shirt. Cost is $50 per athlete, and $80 for two sisters total. Registration forms received after June 1 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Boys Basketball Camp

Title: Boys Basketball Camp
Description: The 2018 Mid-Prairie Boys Basketball Camp will be on June 18-21 for grades 3-12. The camp will include daily instruction from Mid-Prairie staff and current players and will include teaching of techniques and fundamentals, skill competitions, and games. Cost is $40 per camper and $80 for families. Campers may pay on the first day of camp but are encouraged to pay and register early so they have a good idea on t-shirt sizes and overall number of campers. Description: Keota Eagle Advocates is hosting a “Growing Keota” playhouse raffle. Tickets will be sold until June 12 and the drawing will be held Wednesday June 13. Cost is $5 for one ticket or $20 for five tickets. Tickets can be purchased at Libertyville Savings Bank or from any Keota Eagle Advocate member. All proceeds benefit the Keota Eagle Advocates.

Description: Farmers and consultants who deal with grazing will want to attend a pasture walk at the farmstead of Thomas Heidt at 3388 240th Street in Lockridge on Wednesday June 6. Registration and a free ribeye sandwich dinner served by the Jefferson County Cattlemen will be from 5-5:30 p.m. The pasture walk will begin at 5:45 and topics to be covered include rotational grazing, weed and brush management, and erosion control.
