Race to downtown Washington Friday for Washington County Hospital and Clinic’s annual Kidzfest.

This year the festival has a racecar theme. April Cuddeback with WCHC shares what will be featured at the health fest for families, “We actually have some racecars and drivers that will be on the square to show off their cars to the kids. We have the General Lee is coming down and we’ll have rides for winners of our writing contest. And then we will have a big wheel race, we have a firefighter obstacle course, there’s bean bag toss, another obstacle course, putt putt golf, just a wide variety of activities for kids.”

You can also visit the KCII Big Red Radio at the event. The event is free, the only cost is at the food vendors. Booths and activities will run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Central Park. If there is inclement weather, the festival will be held at the Washington High School.
