Thermometers hit record high temperatures in Washington over the Memorial Day weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures climbed to 91 degrees Sunday and 96 degrees Monday, setting new record highs for May 27th and 28th in Washington. The normal temperatures for those days are in the mid-70’s. High temperatures are expected in the lower 90’s and upper 80’s throughout the week with a chance for thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday.
