RAGBRAI vendor fees, expansion of the urban renewal area, and a Captain Kirk statue are all on the agenda for the Riverside City Council meeting.

There is a resolution to set the date for a public hearing on a RAGBRAI vendor ordinance on May 21. A public hearing will be held on expanding the urban renewal area to provide tax increment financing support to A & S Holdings, LLC for the development of a building that will include housing, retail, and office space. A public hearing will also be held on authorizing an economic development grant with Ice It, LLC. Proposals for a new sign for the Voyage Home Star Trek Museum and Riverside History Center, and placement of a bronze Captain Kirk statue in Railroad Park will also be given. A work session with MMS Consultants on the Highway 22 resurfacing project will be held at 5:30 p.m., and the regular meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Riverside City Hall.
