Adam Hotchkiss

A Wayland man was arrested after damaging a horse trailer and gate Monday.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified of a disturbance in the 1100 block of Henry Washington Street in Wayland. An investigation determined that 35-year-old Adam Hotchkiss damaged a horse trailer and a gate after becoming angry with a homeowner after he was denied permission to fish on their property. Hotchkiss was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a serious misdemeanor. Hotchkiss was taken to the Henry County Jail and bond was set at $1,000.
