The Washington Demon baseball and softball teams will head down to Keokuk tonight to face the Chiefs in Southeast Conference double-headers.

Both teams are coming in hot to Monday’s contests.  The softball team is riding a five-game winning streak, and the baseball team has won six of their last seven.

Baseball is coming off a sweep of Louisa-Muscatine Friday night, which includes their largest win of the season in game two with a 22-0 final.  Softball is coming off a win at their home tournament on Saturday, with wins over South Tama and Central City.

The Demons and the Chiefs played here at home three weeks ago.  Baseball took the sweep, winning 7-3 and 9-5, and softball split with a 6-4 loss and a 7-3 win.

We’ll have coverage of game one of the softball double-header live from Keokuk on FM 106.1 KCII starting at 5:00 p.m. with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show.  First pitch is set for 5:30.
