The Washington Demon baseball team will take to the diamond for one game at Dick Sojka Memorial Field tonight, welcoming in the Hawks of Central Lee.

The Demons come into this one with a record of 16-6 and are also winners of eight of their last ten games. This includes winning four straight; they’re coming fresh off a sweep down in Keokuk Monday night and a sweep at Louisa-Muscatine on Friday.  In those four games, the Demons have outscored opponents 48-5.

The Demons have not played at home since they split with Fairfield in a double-header last Monday night.  They currently sport a 7-3 record on the season on their home turf, two of those losses coming in the season opener to Clear Creek Amana.  They’ll look to improve on that number tonight.

We’ll be on the air for that one on FM 106.1 with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show starting at 7:00.  First pitch is set for 7:30.
