The Iowa Mennonite School baseball and softball teams are on the road Friday for a cross divisional Superconference contest with the Central Lee Hawks.

Iowa Mennonite is 6-5 on the year after an extra innings lost to Cardinal of Eldon 13-5 on Wednesday in Kalona. On the season IMS is hitting .271 as a team, led by Eli Ours with a .370 average. On the mound IMS has a team ERA of 3.66 led by Drew Blauvelt with a 2-0 record and 0.64 ERA in 11 innings.

Central Lee comes into tonight’s game with an overall record of 9-5 after an 8-3 loss to Mediapolis Wednesday. On the season the Hawks are hitting .290, led by Tyler Hopp at .372. On the mound Central Lee has a team ERA of 2.28 led by Jake Fraise with a 2-0 record in 13 innings with a 3.23 ERA. These two teams met last year with Central Lee taking a 9-4 win.

The Iowa Mennonite softball team will also be in Donnellson Friday to face the Hawks. IMS comes into the matchup with a 1-9 overall record. Last time out they fell to Cardinal of Eldon 15-5 in five innings on Wednesday. On the year, IMS is hitting .235, led by Hannah Harris and her .348 average. Harris also leads IMS in the circle with a 1-8 record and 6.22 ERA in 54 innings. IMS has a team ERA of 7.36.

Central Lee comes into the game with an overall record of 11-7, last time out they beat Mediapolis Wednesday 6-1. On the year the Hawks are hitting .301, led by Makenna Hall and her .434 average. In the circle the Hawks have a team ERA of 4.38, led by Hall with a 4-2 record in 47 innings of work with a 3.87 ERA. These two teams met a season ago with Central Lee taking a 10-8 win. Action begins tonight at 5:30 in Donnellson.
