Two KCII area teams and Southeast Iowa Superconference rivals meet on the diamond Thursday in Lone Tree.

The Iowa Mennonite School softball team comes into tonight’s doubleheader with a 1-9 overall record. They were beaten by Cardinal on Wednesday 15-5. On the year, IMS is hitting .235, led by Hannah Harris and her .348 average. Harris also leads IMS in the circle with a 1-8 record and 6.22 ERA in 54 innings. IMS has a team ERA of 7.36.

Lone Tree comes into tonight with an overall record of 7-5. They were beaten by Highland 3-0 last time out. On the season the Lions are hitting .254 as a team, led by Abby Buckman with her .500 average. In the circle the Lions have a 3.50 ERA led by Buckman with a 5-3 record in 58 innings and a 3.26 ERA. These two teams met a year ago with IMS taking a 5-3 win.

The Iowa Mennonite baseball team enters tonight with an overall record of 6-5. They were beaten Wednesday by Cardinal 13-5 in 10 innings. On the season IMS is hitting .271 as a team, led by Eli Ours with a .370 average. On the mound IMS has a team ERA of 3.66 led by Drew Blauvelt with a 2-0 record and 0.64 ERA in 11 innings.

Lone Tree enters tonight with an overall record of 5-8. Last time out they beat Highland 7-6. On the season the Lions are hitting .274, led by Avery Knock and his .455 mark. On the mound the Lions have a team ERA of 6.34, led by Knock with a 2-2 record in 22 innings and a 5.56 ERA. These two teams met last year with Lone Tree taking a 2-1 win.
