The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball and softball teams are both on the diamond Tuesday night against different River Valley Conference opponents.

The Mid-Prairie girls make the trip to Wilton to battle the Beavers. The Golden Hawks enter play with an overall record of 4-19 after a split with West Branch Monday in Kalona. On the year the Golden Hawks are hitting .268, led by Rylee Vercande with a .373 average. In the circle, the Golden Hawks have a team ERA of 2.80, led by Cassidy Rourke with a 3-13 overall record across 74 innings and a 2.53 ERA. Wilton comes into the matchup with an overall record of 16-13. Last time out for the Beavers, they split a doubleheader with Iowa City Liberty Monday, dropping game one 8-3 and winning game two 4-1. On the season, Wilton is hitting .353 as a team. The Beavers are led by Kortney Drake hitting .477. Wilton has a team ERA of 4.17, led by Chloe Wells with a 9-8 record in 100 innings and a 3.29 ERA. These two teams met a year ago splitting a doubleheader with Mid-Prairie taking game one 3-1 and dropping game two 10-6.

The Mid-Prairie baseball team has a makeup contest Tuesday with Camanche. The Golden Hawks are 8-11 on the year after splitting a conference doubleheader with West Branch on Monday. Mid-Prairie is hitting .219 as a team, led by Brad Tornow with a .271 average. On the mound the Golden Hawks have a 3.63 team ERA, led by Tornow with a 3-3 record and 1.85 ERA. Camanche comes into Tuesday with an overall mark of 8-7 on the season. Last time out the Indians swept North Cedar Monday 10-0 and 10-2. The Indians are hitting .265 as a team, led by Caleb Delzell with a .351 average. On the mound Camanche has a team ERA of 3.07, led by Jake Drury with a 2.78 ERA in 22 innings and a 1-3 record. These two teams met a season ago with Mid-Prairie scoring a 7-5 win. The Mid-Prairie softball team will get their doubleheader with Wilton starting at 5:30, the Golden Hawk baseball team will start at 7p.m. in Wellman.
