Washington, Keota, Wellman, Kalona, Hills and Riverside were all on Monday’s itinerary for the 18th Annual Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade.

The event had 465 tractors roll into Washington Sunday and will tour the area through Wednesday. Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says she hopes the event will get people to revisit the area in the future, “I’m just excited to share just all of the little things we have to offer, like our retailers, our restaurants. Just all the scenic routes they’re going to be seeing, I think it’ll be a great way to get people to visit again. So, just excited to host them and show what Washington has.”

Tuesday’s route goes from Washington to Brighton, Rubio, Richland, Ollie, Sigourney, Harper, Keota, West Chester and back to Washington for the night. Wednesday will see the tractors leave the fairgrounds and then go through Coppock, Brighton and out to Lake Darling State Park before returning to Washington.
