The Sigourney Savage softball team had a successful season, finishing 21-7 with the number eight ranking in class 1A.  Three players were particularly pivotal to that success, and were rewarded with all-state honors.

The first team saw one Savage in senior Autum Barthelman.  She was outstanding in the leadoff spot all year long, getting on base over 56 percent of the time.  Her .506 batting average was one of the top 15 in class 1A, and was sixth in 1A in stolen bases with 42.

Madi Schauf, another senior, ended up a second-teamer.  She hit an even .500 this season and ended with a tie for the class 1A lead in RBI with 50.  She also cracked 13 doubles, the most on the team.

An all-state honorable mention went out to junior pitcher Jordan VanEe.  She finished with an 18-6 record, and her 1.64 ERA was good for twelfth in the category in class 1A.
