The postseason is just around the corner for the Washington Demon baseball team, and they now know everything they need to know for round one.
The Demons will start postseason play this coming Friday, July 13, just 25 miles to the southwest of here in Fairfield. They’ll start off against Iowa City Liberty, a team they swept in a double-header earlier this season. If they win, they’ll face either Fairfield or Fort Madison in the district championship game the following Monday.
Friday’s first-round game will be here on KCII with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show at 4:30 and a 5:00 first pitch.
