Washington County Treasurer Jeff Garrett presented economic reports for county financing for review at the most recent board of supervisors meeting Tuesday.

In the last six months of fiscal year 2018, from January to June, the county received more than $17.1 million in taxes, $4.8 million of which was retained by the county. Garrett also presented the board with annual and quarterly reports while reviewing the county’s current investment priorities. All reports were accepted by the board and no changes were made to existing investment plans.
