The Highland baseball team was off to the races during the most recent baseball season.

The Huskies put pressure on the opposition on the bases, finishing seventh in Iowa in class 1A with 147 stolen bases for the season. Brody Burton led the Huskies in the category with 24 thefts on the year, fourth most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference, while only being caught once. Robert Yoder was sixth in the Superconference with 22 stolen bags and Bill Laughlin was ninth with 19. Highland finished the season with a 17-12 overall record.
