The Highland Husky baseball team lost a close second-round game Thursday night, falling to HLV by an 8-6 score to end their season.

Everything was coming up Highland in the first couple of innings after the Huskies took an early 5-0 lead.  But HLV would come storming back with a five-run second to tie it up.  The Warriors would then add two more in the fourth and one in the sixth to go up 8-5.  Highland had the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, but could only capitalize for one run before the final out.

The Huskies finish the season with a 17-12 record to cap off the program’s fifth straight winning season.  They only lose Robert Yoder to graduation and retain their remaining 17 players.
