It’s win or go home tonight in a matchup of two KCII area teams, as the Keota Eagle and Iowa Mennonite School baseball teams square off on neutral ground for the first round of the class 1A district playoffs.

IMS comes into tonight with a final regular season record of 13-9.  They had a six-game winning streak going through the 25th of June, but that was ended with a sweep by Mediapolis two days later.  They went 1-1 after that sweep to finish out the season.

Keota sports a record of 11-8 entering the playoffs.  They went 0-2 last week, losing to two KCII area teams in Lone Tree and Highland to finish out the regular season.  They had a five-game win streak of their own snapped in the process.

We’ll have live coverage of tonight’s game from Cardinal High School in Eldon on AM 1380, with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show starting at 4:30 with a 5:00 first pitch.
