Temperatures and humidity climbed back up over the weekend in the Washington area.

Overall, according to the National Weather Service, June’s temperatures in Washington were above normal. The average temperature is normally 70.5 degrees and this June it was three degrees higher. The average maximum temperature and average minimum temperature were also about three degrees above the normal marks of 81.7 degrees and 59.2 degrees. Total precipitation for the month of June in Washington was 6.23 inches, above the normal amount of 4.7 inches.
